One of the things that continually amazes me about the United Kingdom are their football fans. The song “You will never walk alone” is sung passionately with great emotion by the fans of Liverpool Football Club. In many ways, each time i visit London for ministry or training, my heart is to remind each pastor, leader and member, that “you will NEVER walk alone” …because God is always faithful to complete His plans and purposes.
On this trip from 25-31 October, I was honored to spend time as well as speak at one of the leadership gatherings of the United Reformed Church. Reverend Alan Wharton was my excellent host and organiser. It was an important time of dialoguing on topics ranging from the area of global missions to being successful in pastoral ministries. The last 4 days in London was spent with Pastor Peter Loo who is the Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Evangelical Church. Part of my apostolic responsibilities and heart is to help establish the success of those leaders and churches with whom I have a relationship with. As such, much of my time was spent on mentoring, dialoguing, training and speaking with EEC’s church leaders, staff and members. I am excited about what God can achieve through this church.
