January has been a challenging month to accomplish the many things on my assignment plate. As the appointed Chairperson for the review of the Assemblies of God constitution, I have attended many meetings with both pastors and lawyers, worked into the morning in preparation for the final revised draft to be ready in February. I am also personally mentoring and helping different churches, boards members, pastors and leaders - requiring many hours of meetings throughout the week. Weekends are filled with preaching at different churches or visiting those I am mentoring to encourage them and provide feedback for their growth and development.

The short respite was for Chinese New Year when most of Singapore goes on the quiet, with most activities taking place around the dining table or over the chinese delicacies. With my limited schedule, I was able to accept a few invitations for Chinese new year lunches and dinners and have one of my favourite “prosperity” dishes.
I pray that this year will be filled with God’s Blessings and Prosperity for you and your loves ones!

The month of December continued to be hectic, preaching at a church every weekend. It has been extremely rewarding to minister at different churches speaking a different message each time, and seeing God move to impact lives.
On the first weekend, I ministered at my home church, Trinity Christian Centre on “Christmas through the eyes of Joseph”. It followed Joseph’s progression from Anxiety to Acceptance, Betrayal to Blessing and finally Confusion to Confidence - a story that could be any one of us in any situation that we face in times of crisis. The following weekend I ministered at Bethesda Cathedral.
On the 18th, I spoke at Aldersgate Methodist Church for their Chinese and English services. The topic was “Nothing is Impossible with God’ - a message that I firmly believe and live out in my life. On the 25th December, I preached a wonderful Christmas evangelistic message for Bethel Assemblies of God Church titled “Do you see what GOD sees” - a message to challenge every one of us to embrace how God sees each of us - the potential for a powerful purpose and destiny.

From 19-20 November, I was in Jakarta Indonesia ministering at the Apostolic Generation Church. At the weekend Saturday night and Sunday morning services, I preached messages that challenged people to a deeper commitment in God, allowing time for them to weep at the altars as they responded to the move of God’s spirit. This church continues to move from glory to glory and growth to growth. I am excited to be a part of this ministry and seeing all that God is doing through this church that is reaching out to transform other communities.
After my return, I drove up to Malaysia for the Assemblies of God Ministerial Institute (MIR) retreat. The special speaker, Dr Kevin Mannoia, did an excellent job of bringing messages that provided much insight into their calling and purpose. The ministry times were powerful and impactful. The work in their lives at this meeting will bring benefit and growth to their churches as a result of changed lives and mindsets.

Hopping on to a trans-Atlantic flight, I flew to London to be with Pastor Peter Loo, Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Evangelical Church based in Marsham Street. They have started a new church plant in Edgeware Road, a suburb of London. The new plant has been ongoing for about 1 1/2 years and it is in a hard area for the gospel. Yet, it is doing exceptionally well in their growth from 10 to about 70 with salvations almost every week. The church plant currently rents it facilities and this place is not expected to be available after 2 years.
As this weekend was to raise funds for a more permanent location for their new plant, I preached at both centres on the topic of Faith, challenging them to trust God for the finances - - and they responded with an absolutely wonderful amount that will help toward this end. The message on Faith and Trusting God was focused on the promise that as you take the step of faith, the finances will follow. As we ministered on faith, we saw people step out beyond their borders. Step out to feel challenged to trust God in many areas and they raised an absolutely wonderful amount for the project. We ontrinue to pray for that the church will move forward in victory and particularly for Pastor Peter Loo and his wife, Saw Lan, who are leading the church to new heights.

My last report on Alaska continues…In each of the four places in Alaska where we conducted leadership training for the Assemblies of God pastors and leaders, there was an accompanying powerful move of God and divine visitations during the ministry times.
I am so glad to report on some other key exciting moments that took place on the rest of my States trip.
From Alaska, we went to Lakeland, Florida to be with Apostle Shirley Arnold who had convened about 40 key pastors, apostles, prophets and leaders for a two day (25-27 Oct) leadership training session. The sessions focused on leadership issues and dialogues on how to help churches and ministries move to another level of growth and development. I will revisit this area again to continue building on the foundations that have been laid.
In Dallas (8-11 Nov), I was once again one of the plenary session speakers at the annual International Coalition of Apostles (ICA) conference. I spoke on the topic of Apostolic Transitions in the nations. It was very well received with feedback that it was very informative and insightful. All of the speakers were absolutely incredible. I believe that ICA is moving in a direction that is well defined. The conference was uplifting and built up everyone who attended.
