Armed with passport, bags. laptop, and ever trusty Blackberry, I flew off to Portland in Oregon and Vancouver, Canada for a series of training, consultations and mentoring of leaders and churches. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the women at the Strategic Leadership Roundtable in Portland, Oregon. These women are strategic leaders and I have no doubt will grow in influence to impact their region.
In Vancouver, I had consultation meetings with leaders and preached at Bethel International Church, hosted by Pastor Phil Mittelstaedt. In each service, the Word of God has been like a “hammer” breaking off old mindsets. On the first Friday night, God moved in such a powerful way. The alter was full and lives were changed. A short testimony – – I prayed for a lady who then went down under the power of the Holy Spirit. She was shocked she could get up. The reason was that she had both knee caps replaced 9 years ago and since then could not bend nor get up. She suddenly realized that she was totally healed, and began doing knee bends – she would kneel down to pray – lifting her hands saying ” I could not do this for 9 years – Now I can kneel and pray”.
On Sunday, I gave the altar call to receive the Holy Spirit, and a second for those who needed to be re-filled because they were not experiencing God’s Spirit in their life. There was a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit as most were filled with the Holy Spirit for the first time or refilled with great joy. What a wonderful thing to see God working His miracles.
