God wants to open our eyes and ears to show us what needs to take place (Rev 4:1). We must prepare ourselves for spiritual warfare. NOW is the time! Get yourself ready – ready to reap the harvest, ready to do battle.

God is sending a wake-up call. Don't play with time. Don't use it for yourself alone – use it for God. The time is short – do you believe it? If we really believe time is short, it will alter our priorities. We will do things intentionally. We will redeem the time. We will accelerate our efforts to produce disciples and leaders. We will engage in warfare for the nations.

We also need to understand the curse of Shimei (2 Samuel 16:5-13) and break its hold over our lives. Shimei represents the enemy who tries to tear us down through false accusation, who tries to strip us of our future, our divine assignment. If you accept the curse, it will play with your mind, shape your thinking and cause you to see yourself negatively.

Determine that the curses of yesterday will not be perpetuated another generation. Make a declaration in the spirit realm: "I am free!" Declare cleansing in place of corruption, life instead of death, and productivity in place of barrenness. Then you will be free to fulfill God’s destiny for your life. Amen!
